Super Bowl cuisine centers around the nachos and dip, but what about dessert? These s'mores skillet nachos are an amazing sweet treat! Who doesn't love s'mores? They're chocolatey, gooey, and just oh so delicious, but it's a little cold to roast marshmallows outside. This skillet version lets you make the perfect ooey gooey s'mores all year round! Find the recipe from Delish!

There are few things better in life than eating raw cookie dough, but we've all heard how it's not safe to eat *sigh*. These cookie dough footballs are the exception to the rule! Made without egg, you can contently chow down on these cookie dough treats with a clear conscience! Find the recipe and step-by-step instructions from Life, Love and Sugar!

We cannot get over how adorable these football brownies are! This recipe really goes the extra mile with the "turf" brownies and the football strawberries! Kick Cabin Fever to the Curb

"The weather outside is frightful." Is there a lyric that more accurately describes the winter weather? Winter break is right around the corner and, understandably, you may not be super eager to play with your kids outside in the cold and snow (we don't blame you)! But just because you're staying inside doesn't mean you can't enjoy the season!

This "snow dough" is easy to make and SNOW much fun to play with! It's super soft, naturally cold, and, we saved the best part for last, it doesn't require any cooking! Use beads and a variety of other fun embellishments to create snowmen! When your kids are done playing for the day, just store the dough in a Ziploc bag or air-tight container until next time. Find the instructions at Growing a Jeweled Rose!

This winter hat craft is the perfect indoor activity for kids and can be tailored to any age group. Use a variety of markers, crayons, colored pencils, stickers, and whatever else you can think of to decorate the hats! For younger kids, have an adult cut the hats out after the decoration process. Find the template and full directions at Easy Peasy and Fun!

This fun mitten math snowflake counting activity is a great way to incorporate some math into winter break! Perfect for toddlers and preschoolers, this winter-themed counting game helps with number recognition and fine motor skills! It's easy to set up and will keep your little one busy and productive! Find the instructions at Stir the Wonder!

This snowflake painting project might be messy, but it sure is fun! Two activities combined into one, kids can first decorate their canvases with either coffee filter snowflakes or painter's tape! After that, use paint, glitter, and anything else fun to turn the canvas into a winter wonderland! Peel off the tape or coffee filters and voila! Find the step by step directions at Little Bins for Little Hands!

Deck the (School) Halls

Winter break (and the holiday season) is almost here! Just a few more weeks until you get a much needed break from the school morning routine! This time of year is usually one of the busiest, and with all the holiday craziness, your child's winter/holiday school party may sneak up on you! Never fear, we have you covered with plenty of classroom party ideas.

On beverage duty? Grab some bottled water and stick one of our adorable winter-themed water bottle labels to each one! Featuring snowmen, snowflakes, and penguins, our self-stick water bottle labels take theme coordination to the next level!

These string cheese snowmen are festive and easy to make (no cooking involved)! Customize the snowmen with different colored hats and ribbons for an extra fun touch! Find directions at No Biggie

Another healthier snack option is these adorable frozen banana penguins! Made with chocolate, bananas, and M&M's, these tasty treats are (relatively) healthy and will be the talk of the party! These will melt pretty quickly, so be sure to transport them in a cooler. Find the instructions at Reading Confetti!

Who doesn't love rice krispie treats? These reindeer rice krispies are perfect for the holidays! Putting each rice krispie treat on a stick allows for easy transportation and easy eating! Find the recipe and decorating instructions from Thirty Handmade Days

Looking for a non-food party treat? Our snowflake bubbles, which match the snowflake water bottle labels, are a fun party favor! In addition to being great for classroom parties, all of these treat ideas are perfect for your own winter or holiday party!

A Doggone Good Time

Nothing screams cute like a puppy party, just think about all the adorable puppy-themed decorations! Let your guests know where the party is by lining your walkway or driveway with colorful chalk paw prints! Another idea, weather permitting, is to have each party guest create their own chalk paw print! Photo credit to Woo Home.

Get your guests into puppy party mode with these DIY felt puppy ears! Make a pair of ears for each guest and let them choose a pair upon arrival! Or, older children can make their own pair as a party activity. Bonus: these DIY puppy ears make a great photo prop! Check out Martha Stewart for full instructions and Dalmatian, Doberman, and Basset Hound ear templates!

A unique serving idea is to use large (new) dog bowls to serve chips and other appetizers! You can likely find bowls that match your party colors, as there is a wide variety of options at pet stores, Target, and more! If you have a dog, you can keep the bowls as back ups or for traveling. Find more puppy party food and serving ideas at Rub Some Dirt On It!

In our previous puppy party blog post, which you can find here, we mentioned the idea of doing an "adoption station" with plush puppies as an idea for party favors. If you decide to go that route, have your guests design collars out of ribbon and letter beads for their new stuffed friend! Unless the kids are older, it's recommended that an adult put the collar together since hot glue is used. Find the full instructions at The Spare Time Continuum
